As a Site Reliability Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Spokane, WA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Spokane location.
What you’ll do
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- Proficiency in Go, Python or a similar language
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
- Experience with chaos engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Spokane, WA is $149,000 – $189,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
