Our Seattle office is growing, and we need a Site Reliability Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Seattle location.
What you’ll do
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Go, Python or a similar language
- Experience operating large-scale production systems
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience with chaos engineering
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $161,000 – $205,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
