Our Sacramento office is growing, and we need a Senior Systems Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative systems engineering group and report to the systems engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Sacramento office.
What you’ll do
- Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements
- Lead technical reviews with customers and suppliers
- Build system models in SysML
- Plan and track verification and validation activities
- Define interfaces and maintain interface control documents
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Ability to work across disciplines
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- INCOSE certification
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $154,000 – $196,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
