Our Kansas City office is growing, and we need a Senior Structural Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Kansas City location.
What you’ll do
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Experience with structural analysis software
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
- PE or SE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Kansas City, MO is $105,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
