The employer is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Jacksonville location.
What you’ll do
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
- Experience with structural analysis software
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Seismic design experience
- PE or SE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $104,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
