We are hiring a Senior Structural Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Columbus. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Columbus office.
What you’ll do
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE or SE license
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Columbus, OH is $105,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
