As a Senior Software Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Fort Worth office.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fort Worth, TX is $151,000 – $192,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
