We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our software engineering team in Denton. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Denton location.
What you’ll do
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Denton, TX is $145,000 – $184,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
