The employer is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Oklahoma City office.
What you’ll do
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Go, Python or a similar language
- Experience operating large-scale production systems
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with chaos engineering
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oklahoma City, OK is $139,000 – $177,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
