The employer is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Cape Coral, FL. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Cape Coral location.
What you’ll do
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience operating large-scale production systems
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
- Experience with chaos engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Cape Coral, FL is $148,000 – $189,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
