As a Senior Robotics Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Seattle office.
What you’ll do
- Integrate sensors, actuators and compute hardware
- Tune and validate robot performance in the lab and the field
- Develop software for robot perception, planning and control
- Write simulation and test tools
- Work across mechanical, electrical and software teams
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on robotics experience
- Understanding of kinematics and control
- Strong C++ or Python skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in robotics
- Experience with SLAM or computer vision
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $175,000 – $223,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
