The employer is looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer in Las Vegas, NV. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Las Vegas location.
What you’ll do
- Develop software for robot perception, planning and control
- Tune and validate robot performance in the lab and the field
- Integrate sensors, actuators and compute hardware
- Work across mechanical, electrical and software teams
- Write simulation and test tools
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on robotics experience
- Understanding of kinematics and control
- Strong C++ or Python skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with SLAM or computer vision
- Graduate degree in robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Las Vegas, NV is $140,000 – $178,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
