The employer is looking for a Senior RF Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Design and characterize RF front ends and antennas
- Support FCC and carrier certification testing
- Simulate RF circuits in Keysight ADS or HFSS
- Calculate link budgets and system requirements
- Measure performance with network and spectrum analyzers
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to troubleshoot at the board level
- Strong RF and microwave fundamentals
- Experience with RF test equipment
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with phased arrays
- Graduate degree with an RF focus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $160,000 – $203,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
