The employer is looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer in Oakland, CA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Oakland location.
What you’ll do
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
- Track and report on equipment availability and mean time between failures
- Improve preventive maintenance plans in the CMMS
- Analyze failure data and lead root-cause investigations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Data analysis skills
- Knowledge of FMEA and RCA methods
- Experience with a CMMS such as SAP PM or Maximo
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- CMRP certification
- Vibration analyst certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oakland, CA is $141,000 – $179,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
