Our Los Angeles office is growing, and we need a Senior QA Automation Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience testing REST APIs
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $141,000 – $180,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
