As a Senior QA Automation Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Lincoln, NE. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Lincoln location.
What you’ll do
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Strong attention to detail
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lincoln, NE is $108,000 – $137,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
