We are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our software engineering team in Houston. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $123,000 – $156,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
