Senior Project Engineer

Our San Antonio office is growing, and we need a Senior Project Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative construction engineering group and report to the construction engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Antonio office.
What you’ll do
- Support closeout documentation
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong organizational skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Antonio, TX is $96,000 – $122,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
