We are hiring a Senior Project Engineer to join our construction engineering team in New Haven. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New Haven location.
What you’ll do
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Support closeout documentation
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort working on active job sites
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New Haven, CT is $123,000 – $156,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
