The employer is looking for a Senior Project Engineer in Las Vegas, NV. In this role you will set technical direction alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Las Vegas location.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Support closeout documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working on active job sites
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong organizational skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience on projects over $20M
- OSHA 30 certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Las Vegas, NV is $102,000 – $130,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
