The employer is looking for a Senior Project Engineer in Albuquerque, NM. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Albuquerque location.
What you’ll do
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Support closeout documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Ability to read construction drawings
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Albuquerque, NM is $86,000 – $110,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
