Senior Process Engineer

Our Lakeland office is growing, and we need a Senior Process Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative chemical engineering group and report to the chemical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Lakeland office.
What you’ll do
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Monitor and optimize unit operations for yield, quality and cost
- Run designed experiments to improve process capability
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Data analysis skills
- Strong chemical engineering fundamentals
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
- Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lakeland, FL is $100,000 – $128,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
