We are hiring a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in San Francisco. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Francisco location.
What you’ll do
- Perform load flow, short circuit and arc flash studies
- Prepare drawings and specifications for utility projects
- Support interconnection studies for renewable generation
- Develop relay settings and coordination studies
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of NEC, IEEE and NERC standards
- Experience with ETAP, PSS/E or SKM
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with battery storage or solar interconnection
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $175,000 – $222,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
