Senior Network Engineer

Our San Jose office is growing, and we need a Senior Network Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Jose location.
What you’ll do
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Document network designs and standards
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF)
- Firewall administration experience
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking
- CCNP or CCIE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Jose, CA is $171,000 – $218,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
