The employer is looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Aurora, CO. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Aurora office.
What you’ll do
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
- Document network designs and standards
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
- Firewall administration experience
- Clear documentation habits
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking
- CCNP or CCIE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Aurora, CO is $139,000 – $177,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
