We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Gilbert. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Gilbert location.
What you’ll do
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing on design for manufacturability
- Build and test prototypes, then iterate on the results
- Design mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Gilbert, AZ is $111,000 – $142,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
