We are hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in Portland. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Portland office.
What you’ll do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving ability
- CAD skills for fixture design
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Portland, OR is $108,000 – $137,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
