Our Cleveland office is growing, and we need a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative industrial & manufacturing engineering group and report to the industrial & manufacturing engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Cleveland location.
What you’ll do
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- CAD skills for fixture design
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Cleveland, OH is $99,000 – $126,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
