As a Senior Industrial Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Seattle location.
What you’ll do
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
- Design facility layouts and material flow
- Build capacity and staffing models
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with layout or simulation software
- Knowledge of lean tools
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $127,000 – $161,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
