The employer is looking for a Senior HVAC Design Engineer in Phoenix, AZ. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Phoenix location.
What you’ll do
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with load calculation software
- Experience producing construction documents
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- LEED AP credential
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $102,000 – $130,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
