Our Carrollton office is growing, and we need a Senior Hardware Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Carrollton location.
What you’ll do
- Design high-speed digital boards with processors, memory and FPGAs
- Lead board bring-up and hardware validation
- Perform signal and power integrity analysis
- Drive designs through manufacturing release
- Work with firmware engineers to debug hardware-software issues
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe or Ethernet
- Experience designing complex multilayer PCBs
- Experience with Cadence or Altium
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with HyperLynx or similar SI tools
- FPGA development experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Carrollton, TX is $143,000 – $182,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
