The employer is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer in Fayetteville, NC. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Fayetteville location.
What you’ll do
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fayetteville, NC is $135,000 – $171,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
