Senior Field Service Engineer

The employer is a manufacturer of industrial pumps, valves and flow-control equipment.
We are hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in West Jordan. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our West Jordan location.
What you’ll do
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in West Jordan, UT is $55 – $67 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
