We are hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Los Angeles. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Los Angeles location.
What you’ll do
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $68 – $84 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
