The employer is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer in Kansas City, MO. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Kansas City location.
What you’ll do
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong customer service skills
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Kansas City, MO is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
