As a Senior Field Service Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Fullerton, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Fullerton location.
What you’ll do
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Strong customer service skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fullerton, CA is $104,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
