We are hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Baltimore. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Baltimore office.
What you’ll do
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Baltimore, MD is $96,000 – $123,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
