As a Senior Environmental Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the environmental engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations
- Strong technical writing
- Field sampling experience
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $135,000 – $172,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
