We are hiring a Senior Environmental Engineer to join our environmental engineering team in Huntsville. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Huntsville office.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or able to obtain)
- Strong technical writing
- Field sampling experience
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Huntsville, AL is $98,000 – $125,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
