As a Senior Energy Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the energy engineering team works. This position is based in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Minneapolis office.
What you’ll do
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
- Experience with energy modeling tools
- Client-facing communication skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- CEM or PE certification
- Experience with incentive programs
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Minneapolis, MN is $110,000 – $140,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
