The employer is looking for a Senior Energy Engineer in Garland, TX. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced energy engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Garland location.
What you’ll do
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Client-facing communication skills
- Experience with energy modeling tools
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Garland, TX is $102,000 – $130,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
