The employer is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer in Santa Clarita, CA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Santa Clarita location.
What you’ll do
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Santa Clarita, CA is $151,000 – $192,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
