As a Senior Electrical Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in New Orleans, LA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New Orleans location.
What you’ll do
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New Orleans, LA is $109,000 – $139,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
