Our Boston office is growing, and we need a Senior Electrical Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Boston location.
What you’ll do
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Boston, MA is $152,000 – $193,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
