Senior DevOps Engineer

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our software engineering team in Atlanta. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Atlanta location.
What you’ll do
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with service meshes
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Atlanta, GA is $88 – $107 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
