The employer is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer in Mobile, AL. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Mobile office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Mobile, AL is $106,000 – $135,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
