The employer is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer in Lubbock, TX. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Lubbock location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lubbock, TX is $110,000 – $139,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
