We are hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Davie. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Davie office.
What you’ll do
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Davie, FL is $101,000 – $129,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
