As a Senior Chemical Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the chemical engineering team works. This position is based in Frisco, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Frisco office.
What you’ll do
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with process simulation software
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Frisco, TX is $115,000 – $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
