Senior Aerospace Engineer

The employer is a precision machining and fabrication company serving aerospace and defense customers.

We are hiring a Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team in Santa Rosa. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Santa Rosa office.

What you’ll do

• Write test plans and support qualification testing
• Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
• Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
• Prepare certification and compliance documentation
• Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
• Strong technical documentation skills
• A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery

Nice to have

• Experience with FAA certification
• Composite structures experience

Compensation and benefits

The pay range for this position in Santa Rosa, CA is $162,000 – $206,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
